This Hubble image shows the spectacular spiral galaxy Messier 90. The image combines infrared, ultraviolet and visible light gathered by Hubble’s Wide Field and Planetary Camera 2 (WFPC2). It is based on data obtained through six filters. The color results from assigning different colors to each monochromatic image associated with an individual filter.
