German paleontologists led by Dr Oliver Rauhut of the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich, Germany, have discovered a new specimen of Archaeopteryx – a feathered reptile that lived during the Jurassic period, about 150 million years ago – with extensive feather preservation.
